SELNET, a new company set up to encourage new and existing social enterprise business development, through provision of business advice within the North West used Orbit’s extensive development and technical expertise, to develop a content management solution for their new website.
Orbit worked closely with a focus group from Selnet and Business Link to put together a procurement portal based website, which would provide opportunities and information to
support the trading activities of social enterprises in both the public and commercial business sectors.
The bespoke content management solution which Orbit developed has enabled Selnet staff to successfully manage an ever growing information resource portal. Both secure and scaleable it will provide a valuable internet based resource for the growing number of social enterprise businesses within the North West
